By Rev John Brown-late minister of the Gospel at Haddington to which is prefixed a Biographical sketch of the venerable author.

 

The text is more fully elucidated by upwards of eight thousand explanatory and critical notes; and introductory and concluding observations on each book by The Rev John Cooke D.D., LL.D-minister of the presbyterian church, May Street, Belfast.
