Description
A Practice of Orthopaedic Surgery by T P McMurray
In the following pages I have endeavoured to give the reader a description of the basic principles which underlie treatment in orthopaedic surgery. Details of the many operative procedures which are usually included in the larger textbook have been omitted, the types of treatment described being those which, in my opinion, have given the most consistently satisfactory results. No references have been made to fractures or their treatment, as this subject is such a large and important branch of surgery that it deserves consideration in a separate volume, not simply as an addendum to orthopaedic surgery.
