Here we have a handwritten letter Signed By R L Poole, a British Historian and Lecturer in diplomatics at the University of Oxford where he gave the Ford Lectures. The letter was sent to Author H F Russell Smith and is dated 16th December 1912 and mentions the name Temperley (whom I assume could be Harold Temperley).

The letter is on headed paper ‘Editor of the English Historical Review’ A nice historical document.
