This volume contains 14 sermons preached by the author during a two years ministry at Bowes Park, Methodist Church, London. The selection covers a wide range of subjects, dealing for the most part with the central theme of the Christian faith. Sermons are included on man, Providence, prayer, worship, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, etc. and while each is complete in itself, there is an underlying unity of outlook and presentation so that together they constitute a straight forward exposition of Christian truth as it is understood and proclaimed in a Reformed evangelical tradition.
