Mr Peter F Wiener has given us a terrible picture of the man in his Win the Peace pamphlet entitled Martin Luther, Hitler’s spiritual Ancestor. Mr Rupp, in his reply, is content to use the same method as Mr Weiner to reconstruct Martin Luther’s character from his own writings, but at a higher level of scholarship. The resultant picture is strangely different.
