This new edition, entirely reset, of the whole of Keats Poetry, replaces that edited by H Buxton Forman., which was first published in 1908 and has been many times reprinted. Dr H W Garrod, who made a careful study of the sources for his additions of Keats in the Oxford English texts series, has reordered the poems, and furnished an authoritative plain text. He has retained a portion of Buxton Forman’s introduction, has revised the chronology of Keat’s life, and has added a note on the manuscript material and some lively critical comments on certain special textual problems which may tempt a reader further into his field of research.
