Description
This is the first textbook to be devoted entirely to the use of occupational therapy in the after treatment of fractures and other traumatic conditions. It was written by a well known technical director of rehabilitation who has been associated with some of the most important pioneer rehabilitation work in this country. His book deals mainly with specific or remedial occupational therapy, which is presented as a form of remedial exercise. The occupations included range from simple handicrafts such as knotting and netting to such everyday task as domestic work, gardening and log sawing. The basic movements of the occupations have been analysed so that their use as remedial exercise can be estimated easily.
