Description

This set includes two scarce 1973 exhibition catalogues from premier London ceramic specialists Albert Amor Ltd and Winifred Williams. The Albert Amor volume, Exhibition of First Period Worcester Porcelain 1751-1784, catalogues 86 important lots including rare “Blind Earl” dishes and James Giles decorated wares. The Winifred Williams catalogue, Early Derby Porcelain 1750-1770, documents 80 significant pieces, including “dry edge” figures and “Schneeballen” manner vases. Both publications feature scholarly descriptions and black-and-white plates, serving as essential reference tools for identifying provenance and rare forms in 18th-century English soft-paste porcelain.
