Condition: Marbled Boards with red leather to spine and corners. The covers are worn and the leather scuffed. Front board has been taped at hinge. The pages are quite clean with just some light marks tanning and foxing. Wonderful illustrations throughout the book with some musical compositions also. A nice example of Victorian history.

Cassell’s Magazine began in 1867. It was called Cassell’s Family Magazine from 1874 until 1897, and Cassell’s Magazine of Fiction from 1912 onward. Full of fireside readings, Music and art, it was the magazine of its day with many contributors.
