Description
The Face of the Home Counties is a 1936 book by Harold P. Clunn. It is a travel guide to the Home Counties of England, and is divided into eighteen chapters, each of which describes a different route that can be taken from London. The routes are designed to be completed in a weekend, and each chapter includes a map, a list of places to visit, and a brief history of the area.
Clunn was a journalist and travel writer, and he was particularly interested in the history and architecture of the Home Counties. With photographs by J. Dixon-Scott, Will Taylor and the Author.
