Description
Little Nell and her loving, but gambling-addicted, grandfather run a curiosity shop. When the grandfather loses their money to the hideous, vindictive moneylender Daniel Quilp, they are forced to flee London. They wander the English countryside, seeking safety and earning a meager living. Despite the relentless persecution by Quilp and their hardships, Nell maintains her virtue and protects her grandfather until the devastating, yet peaceful, close of her weary life.
