This is the eighth In the Adventure Series book by Enid Blyton and perhaps the most exciting one of all. Away go to four children we know so well on a trip down a river in a far-off land. Jack, Philip Dinah and Lucy Ann and of course Kiki, the talkative parrot are all there and really Kiki is more comical than ever. It seems quite an ordinary river that they go journeying on, but it speeds them headlong into the strangest adventure they have ever had.
