Fully illustrated with lovely black and white plates throughout the two volumes. Both volumes have a picture plate of Shakespeare to the front, one of him young and the other older. Volume one has an Army and Navy booksellers plate to the front and Volume 2 has some figures in light pencil to inside front cover
